Getting Started with the Hit My Macros App and AI Coaching!

Welcome to the Hit My Macros App! Our AI-driven coaching system is designed to help you track your nutrition and meet your health goals with ease and precision.

Onboarding with AI Coach

Start your journey by completing the onboarding process. Here, you'll provide details like height, weight, sex, and activity level. Based on this, our AI coach will suggest initial macronutrient targets. You can adjust these targets or set them as your weekly goals.

Onboarding

If you haven't completed onboarding, simply visit the "Coach" tab and click the chat button to get started.

Tracking Your Food

Tracking your food is essential for reaching your goals and allows the coach to make necessary adjustments to your diet. We understand that this might seem daunting at first, but within 1-2 weeks, it will become a habit that seamlessly fits into your routine.

Ways to Track Food

Our app offers over 8 ways to track your food intake:

  1. Database Search: Explore our extensive database to find foods.
  2. Barcode Scanning: Quickly scan a food item's barcode.
  3. Food Scanning: Use your camera to scan a food or meal.
  4. AI Entry: Enter food in natural language for AI-assisted logging.
  5. Voice Entry: Use your voice to create an AI entry.
  6. Siri Entry: Log food without opening the app through Siri.
  7. Chat with AI Coach: Ask your AI coach to log a food for you.
  8. Recipe Ingredient Input: Paste in a recipe to log all its ingredients.
  9. Food Suggester: Receive recipe suggestions in the suggestion tab.
  10. Local Food Suggester: Get nearby restaurant meal suggestions.
  11. ...and much more!

Faster Tracking with Siri and Widgets

Siri:

You can tell Siri "Log food to Hit My Macros". You may be prompted to enable the shortcut. When siri asks what food you can reply with any amount and food like "half a banana" or "1 chipotle burrito with steak" and you coach will log the food for you - hands free!

-Please note: You may need to open the Shortcuts app to enable this feature.

Lock-Screen Widget:

For blazing fast loggings, you can enable our lock screen widget. Just go to you lock screen, hold you finger on the screen->Customize->Add Widgets and tap the Hit My Macros Widget (3 spoons icon).

Home-Screen Widget:

Want up-to-the-minute updates on your tracking without opening the app. Go to the home screen you'd like the widget added to. Tap the plus button in the upper left hand corner and search "Hit My Macros" to add the widget.

Pro Version: Weekly Check-ins

Want extra accountability and help throughout your journey? You can upgrade to the Pro version for weekly check-ins with your coach. Log daily metrics like weight, mood, hunger levels, etc., and receive detailed reports with tailored advice, macronutrient adjustments, and motivational support each week.
